Hello

Anyone done a side return extension on ground floor flat with an infill. Our bathroom is at back and will need to move the bathroom too and have living room/kitchen facing the back garden. Anyone has idea of cost and done it please, we are in London.

Thanks

This is really ball park, but I would say c.£125k-£150k assuming you need new kitchen etc too?

We are doing a side return on our terrace in London at the mo, plus a full internal rewire/new boiler etc etc and it will be £200k+

Wow @NWnature that is more than I expected. Thank you.

Talk to your mortgage company
Do you have equity
You’ll be adding value presumably

I have been working on the basis of £4,500 per square metre for the extension (no quotes yet as this is for a house we're in the process of buying) with the kitchen, windows etc. on top.

We're budgeting £75k. That's to use rooms already set up as dining room/kitchen though.

We're in London.

I think that’s ambitious
But depends on quality and finish you’re going for
