Why does it always rain on me?

As the name suggests, we've already had water problems in this house.

And now we've got rain indoors. Again.

This is not a new thing.

Rented flat 1: squirrels chewed through pipes in loft causing multiple leaks
Rented house 2: rain inside bedroom bay window
Rented house 3: defective guttering causing rain in spare room

And now
Owned house: more bloody indoor rain

Why? What can I possibly have done to deserve this?
