Replacement controls for electric hot water system

My parents currently have this ancient economy 7 control for their hot water. Could anybody direct us as to where/what would be the best replacement option in their new kitchen?
Thanks

That control is great - don't throw it away it should go in a technical museum. I love those old 'functional' things rather than these LCD displays that you can't read in bright light etc.

Sorry can't actually help with your question!

presumably you have a hot water cylinder fitted with one or two immersion heaters, and the house has a cheap-rate overnight tariff similar to the old Economy 7.

It looks like a Horstmann and is one of the best you can get for an E7 type timer.

Why do you want to replace it?

A newer Horstmann digital timer is also available at about the same price, but is IMO less intuitive to use and less popular with older users.

You can get another brand, if you want something not as good.

Thanks - she is getting a new kitchen and this one is rather "done" and will somewhat spoil the effect of the new kitchen.

I Googled and Horstmann do still make manual timers, so an updated one of those will do.
