Fitting a floor with click and fit board things

Hello
How easy/difficult is it to fit these? They are going in a square conservatory that has a tiled floor currently. They would be going on top of the tiles. Is it doable or do I need a professional?

Fairly easy, you may need a special underlay and if it has a skirting board in my opinion these should be removed and refitted after the floor is laid. Tricky bits can be door openings, going into the threshold.

Ok thank you. Doesn’t sound too tricky. Will have to replace skirting boards anyway as one wall is being replastered. Thank you!

I’ve dine 3 rooms in lockdown by myself. You need to buy a floor fitting kit with a special tool to knock them together without damaging the edges.

Make sure the floor is level though. If it isn't then the boarding will be springy and not sit flat on the floor which will be sub optimal.

I am always surprised at the amount of floors which are not level and require self levelling screed to get them flat

Thanks for these tips. Really helpful.

Loads of helpful videos on YouTube, possibly even with the actual product you are laying. But laying floor is very easy and straight forward mostly.
