Circuits keep tripping. Not sure what the problem is, any pointers?

Hi all, for the past few weeks about once a fortnight our circuits have tripped. It seems to be when the oven is on but it is not the oven specific fuse that is tripping. It is the one for all RCD protected circuits beside the wee yellow button (see picture, not going to pretend I know what that means). Do I need a sparkie or is there anything I should do first. Clueless dot com.

I would get a Sparkie if it is intermittent. Normally you can turn off all appliances and turn them in one by one and if it trips you find the fault. With intermittent faults it is more difficult and they have testing equipment that may help.

It can be something like water getting into a socket, particularly outdoors but could be a faulty appliance

This happened to us after we moved into our rental property recently. Turns out one of the fuses had been put back in the wrong place when they didn’t the electrical certificate. Human error.
Have you had any work done recently?

Problem identified. Oven is the last of our major appliances to die since lock down. Yeahhhh

For us it was the element in the combi microwave oven. We replaced the element and all has been fine since.

Mine is always the iron, it will most likely be an appliance or a combination of two appliances.

Get a electrician in and while hes there get him to put a blank between the B32 and B16 on the RCD protected side anyone poking their fingers in there could end up with a nasty shock
