Adding bath to this house?

We are interested in this house but there is no bath and I think the bathroom looks too small for one. How easy do you think it would be too make the smallest bedroom in to a bathroom? Is it impossible?! I am clueless with such things.

@longtompot yes parking is an issue. We’re viewing a house very near by tomorrow that does have parking but it’s not as pretty!
We need 3 bedrooms, hoping kids will go to boys’ grammar so within half an hour walk would be ideal. We love character rather than a new build or estate type house. We liked this one but we were too late.

Agree parking is a nightmare round there,
Nice house though

Saniflo loos are fine as long as all you put in them is human waste and loo roll. We’ve had one for over 10 years

Ok you’re putting me off with the parking! I imagine it’ll be harder to rent too.

Thank you @longtompot and @waterandlemonjuice but I’ve looked at all those and dismissed them for good reason already. I love the look of the one on St Mark’s Road but it’s expensive for no parking and only three bedrooms.

No worries. What's your max budget? I did up to £450 as I wasn't sure.

What about sacrificing some of the middle bedroom to extend the current bathroom?

@longtompot don’t worry - I have all the right move alerts set up and look at the app about 20 times a day. :)

Just seen this. Nice road with some super expensive houses there. Close to the countryside for walks, and walking distance to the boys grammars school.

I'd say it's big enough to have a bath in there with a shower over top. You can get slightly smaller tubs too. Would be easier to keep the bathroom there because of plumbing etc but ask a builder about moving it !

Looks like a fab house Smile

@longtompot yes I saw that and I love that road (and it’s a very attractive looking house) but if we only have three bedrooms they all need to be doubles and the third is small.
I viewed one near the Wyndham Rd one this morning, with parking, and it was really lovely but the garden wasn’t great so we’re having a think.

Next door have gone into the roof. I just wondered as it's a bit lower than others you've mentioned you might be able to go up there and then have 3 good size bedrooms, one small or even an en-suite for the front bedroom?
If it's just the grammar school catchment area you need, then that area is quite large, so it gives you quite a large area to search.

Is that the one with the courtyard garden? Yes, nice house and the garden is ok, but I do like my grass and borders.
