Electric Combi Boilers

Has anyone had an electric combi boiler installed instead of a gas one? Are they any good? I know they're more expensive but being able to reposition the boiler away from an outside wall would transform the kitchen and woudn't be possible with a gas one in our property. I'm most wary of the electric combi not really producing enough hot water on demand. Any info much appreciated.

Energy cost is insane, they'll produce instantaneous hot water just fine tho. Heat pump would be a option and they are becoming much more affordable think its even possible to get a grant towards the cost, however you would then have to find somewhere for a hot water tank so a double edged sword
