I spent a ridiculous amount on mine but having a bath is my hobby :)

I trailed around shops and sat in them till I found my perfect one.

Seriously, try as many as you can then you work out width and length you like....plus I realise I like a high back so i can put my hair over the edge.

I think someone once told me there is a massive showroom in London somewhere....but maybe I dreamt it. If there isn't, there should be!

Oh, and if you find a nice high end designery one...its worth going to proper plumbers merchants as they will may know the same bath with out the fancy badge on it.....eg Travis Perkins does a lot of Fired Earth Basins and toilets etc with the logo on.

I treated myself to a Burlington bath.
It’s amazing. I’m quite tall but the bath is big and deep and covers everything. 😁

Mine is from the Bathstore. I know that the showrooms have gone bust but I'm not sure if you can still buy it online.

The bath monopoly

Handsnotwands · 06/08/2020 23:18

Sorry - water monopoly is what I meant

Vileroy and Bosch

Villeroy & Boch sell a bath that is a material called Quaryl. Which is half quartz and half acrylic. So it is very strong and doesn’t bend like a plastic bath does when you put water into it. It feels very solid and it can be very deep with steep sides because it does not flex. It is an excellent bath and I recommend it.

CP Hart have a massive showroom In London , underneath the railway arches.
You go to reception and they take your coat. Wander round fur a few hours, one of the bathrooms is set up like a rainforest.
Bette for baths.

Carron baths.

The dripping tap on the south circular has a good range.

bookgirl1982 · 07/08/2020 07:41
