Boiler Advice Please!

Hi
Can anyone advise me on their experience of ideal logic boilers please- have gas people round hoping to fit this boiler. I wanted Worcester Bosch but it’s extra £200 pounds!

Also he seems to think my gas meter is “at risk” as in needs some wall brackets for stability. It currently lives in our front room protected by a wall unit. It’s for me thinking that it might be an idea to even move it. What’s the best place for a gas meter these days? And how much does it cost? I’m serviced by Cadent.

I've got an ideal logic boiler and had no problems in 6 years. It's got a 7 year warranty as long as you get it serviced each year. Not sure I'd want a gas meter in my lounge, mine is in the cupboard under the stairs next to the boiler.

I have a Worcester Bosch and it’s in the garage. They are one of the best makes on the market I believe.

Worcester Bosch is the best currently offer 10 years warranty I believe

Have you got a smart meter yet? If not, book it in and they will exchange/ move it for free.

Worcester Bosch is the best on the market. But Ideals are good too, and have an increasingly good reputation now, after a really bad period for them 10-15 years ago (which is possibly why plumbers don't like them so much).

Just had ideal vogue max 32 Combi installed.
10 year guarantee, extended to 12 as it comes with the Ideal magnetic filter device too.
We have a month or two of the British Gas home care service to run but won’t renew after that seeing as we have the warranty with Ideal.
Local firm who installed said yearly service was £150 including VAT.
