Move or stay

Like to know what you would do. Stay in a cramped flat which is dark no view directly onto garden and hope prices will go up next year to then sell up and have more money to buy better house or move now and find a house within your budget.

If your flat goes up by 10%, so will the houses making them less affordable to you.

Anyway, no one has a crystal ball to know for sure what will happen to prices so I’d just move instead of speculating and disliking where I live.

Try to move now. If you manage to sell and find somewhere you like then great! If not then try again in a few months.

Definitely no point staying somewhere that makes you miserable!

Prices going up would be a bad thing for you in your situation.

In your shoes I would keep looking, get the flat ready for sale and on the market.
