Light switches

We need to stick with plastic light switches rather than metal ones (electrician stuff!) can anyone recommend particularly nice ones? We currently have toggle one from the 60s I think!

We have Schneider Lisse, but according to my husband we wish we had Schneider Ultimate. The Lisse are simple and nice and my husband has managed to fit some himself.

take your pick

white ones will become unnoticed unless the wall is a bright or dark colour

I have a couple of bright red ones, and sockets, in a room where the end walls are bright red.

You can get some with a removable front plate that you can put wallpaper behind, or paint, but I just looked and they seem to have metal parts now. Gridswitches have a front plate you could take off if you are particularly good at spraying.

IMO Crabtree are better quality

Hager Sollysta or Schneider Lisse are probably the best looking plastic accessories, Scolmore Click are very good but not quite as good looking, if it were my own home id probably go with the Lisse.
