NC as potentially outing
We've gone through the ups and downs of buying/selling during a pandemic and had been working towards a 30th July completion date for months. We've obviously missed this now - but only because no one (our solicitor, our EA, our buyer) can get ahold of our buyer's solicitor!
We know that everything is in place and we should have been able up exchange this past Friday/Monday. But it's just radio silence. Our solicitor/EA/Buyer have now all reached out to the solicitor's supervisor, but they've just said they'll aim to get a full reply next week.
The further delay is really getting me down and stressing me out, as we're going to be getting very close to when our mortgage offer expires. And honestly I've just mentally moved out of our current house.
Not really sure why I'm posting, other than needing to vent! But anyone know of any reason his solicitor would just go silent?? It's an investment buyer and he's bought other properties through this firm previously.
