How do decide which estate agent to use?

This is the first house we have sold. I have got 3 valuations and 2 of them are the same so I will choose one of them.
Agent 1 - we bought the house from them, local to the area, lower commission (1%) but they have not rung us since the valuation so do they put the sales work in?
Agent 2 - very pro active, good local reputation and friends have used them. More of a chain. 1.25% commission.
The house - in good condition, desirable area, had new kitchen a year ago generally felt to be easy to sell.
So do I hope the house sells itself and pay less or get the hard sellers in to make sure? I am not in a huge rush as not found anywhere yet! I just have no experience in this area!

Whichever you would buy from, thats we made our decision on.
They'll be representing you and your home - you can use multiple agents if your truly stuck.
