There is planning permission for double storey side and back extension. How much would each of these cost roughly?

We've never bought a renovation project before, but increasingly realise to get what we really want we will have to do the work ourself.

Oh and any suggestions on what you'd do to improve the property are most welcome.

For a double storey extension I would calculate the cost to be about £1500-£1750 per m2.
