We are having the entire front of our property remodelled (very ugly and impractical layout) and have had a large entrance hall added with recessed door. We have ordered a door without a knocker so just wondering whether we need a traditional doorbell built into the brickwork, or whether a ‘ring’ video doorbell is sufficient to alert us to guests when we are home? Do they actually even ‘ring’ in the conventional sense? 🤷🏻♀️
