Where to live - North West London

Where would you live if...

You wanted to be accessible to Milton Keynes, the City and Kensington

In a Naice ish area (nothing too fancy needed, but a it shouldn't feel unsafe)

Decent schools needed, probably private

Budget up to £1.5m

Probably 4 beds.

We're easy with either London suburbs or somewhere commutable. The choice seems a bit too big!

Mill Hill or anywhere along the Thameslink Line? Radlet, Elstree, West Hampstead?

Llamapolice · 28/07/2020 15:41

Harrow?

Davros · 28/07/2020 16:02

West Hampstead?

NewHouseNewMe · 28/07/2020 16:17

Stanmore, Mill Hill, Radlett?

LOVELYDOVEY05 · 28/07/2020 16:47

Pinner it is safer than Harrow

The Thameslink doesn't go to Milton Keynes. You'd have to go to Kentish Town then Change to northern line to euston.

I'd probably go with Wembley if you really want to stay in London or alternatively Bushey on the herts/London border. You aren't far to habs/merchant taylors/st helens/heathfields/North London coll or you can go into London for St pauls or City etc

Unless you're happy to drive then Elstree/stanmore/Mill Hill would probably be the best options

EachandEveryone · 28/07/2020 17:46

Are you planning on driving to Milton Keynes? The Thameslink will get you to Kings Cross in 30 minutes then loads of trains out. Or the National Express from Golders Green😀 I really like Mill Hill loads of good schools and a nice little high street, country pubs plus lots of parks and a new sports place on Montrose Park for over 8 year olds. They have lots of clubs for them there. Unitas I think it’s called. Theres a big shopping park now for all your groceries and craft needs. Also Bang Bang an Oriental shopping centre and food court,

Harrow- train to MK, tube to the City, overground to Kensington Olympia.

John Lyon (boys) in Harrow itself, tube to Watford grammars, Northwood college, st Helens, merchant Taylor's. School buses to habs and NLCS.

Harrow on the hill itself is lovely and naice. You could live in pinner and drive to Harrow and wealdstone for the train to MK/Kensington.
