Property Searching Whilst Pregnant

Afternoon,

My partner and I were seeking to rent a property after the current pandemic destroyed our hopes on getting a mortgage so we have decided to rent until everything returns to normal. I have found a property which only says "no pets" so we decided to register our interest. The letting agents asked on the phone if I had any children (which legally I do not) but I am expecting. Am I under any obligation to inform them, as I fear I will be discriminated against based on the fact I'm pregnant. Any advice?

As far as I'm aware got don't have to declare your pregnancy to a letting agent. We are currently renting and I'm 5 months pregnant, I checked our contract thoroughly and there nothing in it to say you have to tell them about children, only that pets aren't allowed. We have to renew next month for 6 months and still won't be telling them.
