How many viewings?

We’ve put our house up for sale; it will be tricky to sell as it’s near where they are building a Care home so I think the building work will put lots of people off although it won’t affect the view from the house or anything...

Anyway, what’s typical these days for number of viewings before an offer?

We’ve only had 3 viewings so far but have 3 in a row tomorrow. It’s been years since I sold a house so I can’t remember what it’s like. I’m just fed up of cleaning it!

Idk but shamelessly following -we've had about 7 and 2 booked in tomorrow. The cleaning and prepping is a drag

We went through probably 6-7 before taking an offer. Sometimes the luck of the draw, right people at the right time etc. But yes agree the constant cleaning and keeping the house spotless is exhausting.

First viewing produced a low offer.

Had 6 in two weeks but no other offers.
Don't Clean it as we live elsewhere.
Difficult to judge the situation.

Had about 20 viewings (the bulk of which were across a 2 week period). 2 offers. Ours is a niche house though - small, not much storage, but loads of potential which we couldn’t exploit as we needed to move.

55 viewings in 15 months.

First offer was 5 or 6th viewing. That fell through at a very late stage.

Nearly 21 months (sold and went into rented to keep sale) we move into new house on Monday!

Good luck, I really do hope it goes smoothly for you.
