Shall I change estate agent?

I put my house on the market at the start of June as my tenants were leaving and I can ill-afford an empty house. Ideally, I need to complete a sale as soon as possible. I added it to the lical Facebook group and had 17 enquiries in the first 24 hours do I decided to risk going with Purple Bricks as I hoped it would sell itself. 6 weeks later, we have had one viewing!

I've invited a high street agent to see it next week with a view to changing agents and I won't get my £1000 back, although I will be mentioning the errors made by the agent in case the company would like to give me some compensation.

Two other agents have reviewed the advert and reckon it is very well priced for a quick sale and can't understand why it isn't proving popular.

Would you stay with the same agent longer or swap, list the money and pay thd normal hefty high street fee?

Do you know any houses that have sold since lockdown began to lift? Agents tell me they are busy, but are they actually selling or just listing properties?

Apologies for the typos. I'm on my phone and forgot to edit the autocorrects!

You will be forgiven the typos if you post the link to your house. 😉
