I have a really bad uneven wall in a old house. I can't afford to have it replastered so thinking of get 3D brick/stone wallpaper to go over it. I know it's not to everyone's taste but would it hide a multitude of sins or should I save up to have the whole room knocked back to brick and start again?

You could fill, sand and use a thick grade lining paper to smooth it out? I'm not sure how much a brick print wallpaper would hide.

I really like it but only if it looks realistic and in keeping with the age of the house. I’ve used it and people often mistake it for the real thing unless they’re really up close but I’ve seen some shocking ones.

Could brick slips be an option?

I'm looking at different options including taking the wall down and plasterboard it. Can do that myself and then maybe get someone in just to skim it? That I hope would be cheaper to do the prep myself?

I found this in B&Q and wondered if it would do the trick ? It's got good reviews.
