Divan keeps moving

I have two single divans on an engineered wood floor. I have taken the castors off but they still keep moving (I guess as they are lightweight). My elderly mum and nanny will be using the room frequently when they are able to do it again so I need to find a solution. As they are brand new I don't want to get rid of them.

Is it better to put the castors back and get castor cups or have a rug underneath or willing to consider any other option

We've the same problem and put castor cups under but the beds tend to slide about a lot and separate. A rug is a good idea, i might try that!
