We have our cooker on the narrowest wall of the kitchen. This isn't my kitchen but the set up is similar except we have a tiled splashback and no other tiles. The walls are painted either side of the splashback behind the cooker. But they look a mess and are difficult to clean because we're lazy and leave it too late scrubbing them removes the paint. Has anyone tiled the full width of the wall - but just on that wall? Does it look odd? It'd be so much easier to keep clean.
