My neighbours in the adjoining property have had their extension redone, they informed me about 2 weeks before the work that they were having their kitchen renovated. Told me there would be no changes to the roof and that it won’t effect me.
It’s been knocked down and rebuilt (we have a shared wall). There roofer has piled tiles on my side without my permission, and some of mine have broken.
However I’m concerned that their roofer has taken up a line of tiles on my roof, I also suspect that they’ve had the wall removed between the back of the house and extension, and an RSJ installed into the party wall. I’ve noticed some hefty cracks on my side of wall since they’ve had the work done.
There is no party wall agreement in place but don’t feel that they’re approachable given that they weren’t completely honest about the extent of the works.
