How much to offer

I’m interested in buying a house that is on the market for 240K. I feel it’s a bit over priced, but I’m very keen on it. What do you think is a reasonable offer? The owners have apparently reduced the asking price once, though I don’t know by how much.

How long has it been on the market for? How much are you prepared to pay for it? Is the house in good condition?

Offer £210 and see what happens.

It very much depends on the market. If it's been on for less than a month and has lots of viewings booked in, you'll be wasting your time to go in much under asking. If it's been hanging around for a while, it's worth going in a bit lower.
