Show me your (small) bathrooms

Looking at getting the bathroom totally re-done. I'd love a shower cubicle but DH insists on keeping the bathtub. Keen to see if there's a way to fit both in.
Are corner baths dated?

Not myself but Pinterest has great ideas. I especially like these - go through the shower to the bath.

I forgot to add that the bathroom is 1800x1700

What about this?
That's what I would love but not sure we would have the room ☹️

Marking my place - your layout is probably the average UK bathroom, and almost identical to mine.

DH and I have a agreed on white suite and white tiles. We could end up with the most boring bathroom ever.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 20/07/2020 17:44

What is that at the end of the bath?

KeirStarmerDonkeyFarmer · 20/07/2020 18:02

Does your DH particularly like baths or is it a resale thing?

Our bathroom is too small to get a photo of it! But we have a huge walk in shower instead of a bath and it’s brilliant.

Bowerbird5 · 20/07/2020 18:05

About the size of mine. We have a walk I shower across the width of the bathroom ( window in centre) and the basin and toilet on right hand wall. New towel radiator on the left and door opens inwards. Niche shelving next to loo.

LynetteScavo we have white suite and white tiles but we have some mosaic tiles to break it up a little. Two rows in the shower a row of two at the top and a row of four at about chest height.
This time we have put tiles on the floor which are like slices of stone. Last time we had dark grey slate. I painted the alcove a deep turquoise with white shelves which have photos and little boats and shells to add a bit of interest. Box below accommodates all the spares with a basket on top for the ‘use now’ things.

Walk in 😂

Theyweretheworstoftimes · 20/07/2020 18:36

You could have a shower and a soaking tub?

A short deep tub rather than a long one?

What is that at the end of the bath?
I'm not sure

He likes to have the option, I'd prefer just a shower as I rarely use the bath and when I do it's in and out. He can lie for ages hiding soaking in a bath

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz I love that! Genius idea.

youngestisapsycho · 20/07/2020 21:51

We turned the bath under the window and put a shower in the corner, sink between the 2 and toilet opposite sink

before and after of my very small bathroom... Would have been difficult to have a walk in shower and tub. Prefer walk in showers

We removed small bath for walk in shower.

What's wrong with an over-bath shower?

Best of both worlds (we do have a slightly wider than normal bath though so plenty of elbow room in the shower).

feliciabirthgiver · 20/07/2020 21:59

@Smallgoon our bathrooms are very similar!

This is our tiny en-suite, carved out of our bedroom. Short bath, which we actually quite like as you can have a bath that fills super quick and uses less water. We don't have a loo in there as the plumbing was way too expensive and complex, as it's a long way from the soil pipe.
