Acceptable timeline to email through a quote???

We had 3 companies come last week to measure up for a small conservatory. Only 1 has sent through a quote. I called one yesterday & they've still sent nothing through. Heard nothing from the 3rd.

I realise ours is small fry, but what is a reasonable amount of time to expect a quote?

We work in a similar field and since 'lockdown was lifted' we have been flat out busy. I would cut them a bit of slack - it's probably got nothing to do with the size of the job but that it's a strange time where everyone seems to want home improvements after lockdown and they're probably inundated. It's a couple of weeks for us to get quotes out at the moment but we are telling people that when we come to quote.

IME most quotes have taken 2 weeks minimum. One of our window quotes took exactly a month!! I’m not using them.

Fair points. Yes, they all mentioned being busy, but 2 said they'd get the quotes out on monday, so just assumed I'd we'd hear something.
