Thinking of moving to Gloucestershire from Surrey, any advice?

My partner and I are seriously thinking of moving to Gloucestershire before the end of the year. We both work for a nationwide brand so there's job options for us there, possibly with live-in accommodation too but that's not a definite. If we have to rent for a while then we're currently looking into areas in the outskirts of Gloucester, as well as Cheltenham and Cirencester. Would these be good places to live with a 2 year old? As in, good preschools, toddler groups and nice playgrounds etc that people could recommend? We're used to living in a village near big towns, with a mix of lovely areas and not-so-lovely areas, so we're not put off by Gloucester's mixed reputation (... yet). Would there any other family-friendly towns/villages worth looking into or any other factors to consider?

Hi! I can only really comment on Cheltenham. It does really depend on budget/where you need to commute to. But would recommended Leckhampton, Charlton Kings as a good place to start.
