Substation

Has anyone bought, or lived near a substation? I am thinking of buying a property with one next door, is this a health hazard?

Would appreciate some advice before putting in an offer.

DH lived in a house with one more or less in the back garden. The noise was horrendous in certain weather pressures.

Our second baby was stillborn.

I refused to have more until we'd moved.

I could never prove the link of course, but it troubled me. I would never live near another.

The noise would drive me nuts so it’s a no from me.
