When to book Snagger for?

Hi - just tried to call, but the phone lines are down so asking on here to see if anyone can help?

I've now got a completion date for my new build. How soon after moving in did you get a snagger in? Or how soon after do you recommend?

It feels a little risky to do it on completion day in case there are any issues... Or will it be fine?

Ok - I got through and this question got answered in case anyone else is in the same boat.

They recommend 5-7 days before completion, but you require permission from your builder to let the Snagger in.

If builder won't allow it then they recommend any day after completion. You have up to 2 years to sort out any snags, but it's better to get in early so they won't be disputed by the builder as being the homeowner's fault etc.

The only day they won't do is the actual completion day.
