Western red cedar protection

I’m having a garden room built and it’s clad in western red cedar. I’d like to protect its natural colour instead of leaving it to turn grey/silver.

Has anyone treated their cedar and can recommend a product for the job. I’ve heard of Osmo oil but it says you need to leave at least 12 weeks for the cedar to “weather” before applying and then I read about a product called Woodoc exterior wood dressing whereby you don’t need to wait before applying.

I’m confused.

The osmo technical desk is very helpful, I've never had a problem with their products. Have you got a problem with leaving it to weather? Or you could try Wood Finishes Direct. Possibly they are different formulations.
