Pocket doors

Thinking of putting a pocket door into the en suite when we get it redone.

My experience of them has been rattly, noisy and not very soundproof.

Have they got better??

We just had some fitted between two downstairs living spaces. Works brilliantly as it allows us to open up the whole space when required. Very pleased with them for this purpose, but wouldn't put them in an en suite as they're not soundproof enough, plus probably slightly too noisy for night-time trips to the loo!

We at making a pair of pocket doors by having them slide behind built-in bookcases which are 10cm forwards from the wall. I saw the idea on TV.
