Try a heat pump one for the dryer but, much kinder to the planet

I'd go for separate machines if at all possible, but if space is an issue, I bought an LG washer dryer nearly 10 years ago, and it's still going strong.

@Shmithecat2 no space unfortunately hVent has dryer before but with a new baby and washer on it's last legs thought it would be a good idea

I have seen the LG one it seems to have v good reviews

I'd definitely go separate can you put one on top of the other re space issue? I've not found a good brand that does a washer/dryer.

I have recently got a washer/dryer due to not having space for separates. I got a hoover dynamic next machine from currys. Good choice of wash cycles and a couple of different dry cycles I’m really happy with it my only complaint is the spin cycle is quite noisy.

Jumblebumblemess · 07/07/2020 20:45

I have the bosch washer dryer and had it for 4 years now and it's great. Never as good as separates but like you I have no space for those.

ScottishStottie · 07/07/2020 20:47

If space is definitely an issue with no workaround, you'll still need an airer or something to dry the clothes. The dryer cycle will do 90% of the drying but will still be slightly damp.

Miele do a washer dryer. Not cheap at all though.

fizzybootlace · 07/07/2020 21:06

I had a washer dryer in my flat and it was always fine but when I moved to a house and had the room I got separates as everyone said it was better. 5 years on and 2 tumble dryers later (which I only use a few times a week) ive now gone back to combined and it's so much better. I'd really recommend AEG. Fluff gets washed away, filter easy to clean, very happy with it.

Sorry pressed post to soon

LG F1480RD. I have had it 10 years so there will now be a newer model but I really rate LG and have several of their appliances.
