Hi,
I really need some advice before I start over worrying. We hired a company today to remove an old garage/building from our back garden. The roof had Asbestos in it. It wasn't actually an Asbestos removal company but a demolition company but when they came round assured me that they had removed hundreds of buildings like mine and they knew what to do etc etc. So when they came today to remove it I was expecting it to be carefully taken down as not to disturb the Asbestos. However, they were drilling at it, letting it fall down onto a rubble pile, I'm sure they were bashing the stuck bits (it was a really old garage) causing lots of dust in the air. I was worried enough about all the clouds of dust going over our garden things and the things that had been removed from the shed but when I went upstairs, I realised that my son's bedroom window had been left open. Do you think its possible that Asbestos dust could have blown into his room? My OH says I'm being over anxious and that the wind would have blown it away but I'm quite worried. I gave it a Hoover and changed his bedding but he's got loads and loads of toys in his room, do you think I'd need to try and wash them??
Sorry for the long post, I have no one to ask and I'm desperately trying not to let my anxieties get the better of me (long story)
