I am in the midst of a worktop dilema that may need some input!
I have been looking on the Ikea website and considering buying the marble effect Ekbacken worktops to spruce up our temporary kitchen. One of the tops will be for the kitchen island, but I cant work out if the Ekbacken range is edged all the way around, or if it has the exposed chipboard back like many laminate worktops do? Similarly, if it does have the chipboard edge, does it come with an edging strip?
Ive looked at all the details online and cant find the answer, so wondered if anyone has experience of buying them/fitting them recently?
We would go to the store ourselves, but my husband refuses to take the risk in going just to look and the worktop length we need wouldn't fit in the car anyway, so I am wary of taking the plunge and buying online just yet.
Grateful for anyone who can help and possibly even post some pictures of how it looks in their own kitchens??
Thanks!
