Anyone had missing cement repaired on roof?

Hi

We have some cement missing from apex tiles on our roof as well as some of the 'ends' if that makes sense. We have some leaking gutters.

We accept this will need scaffolding to repair.

Has anyone had similar work done and willing to share the cost? We've had one quote, but two further contractors have been no shows. I'm keen to get at least an idea of potential prices for work of this nature before handing over in excess of £2k!

I can’t say how much it would cost but two years ago I had all the ridge tiles on a hip roof removed, cleaned and Re-cemented in place, a replacement gutter all down the long side of the house, several tiles replaced and all the moss on my roof and garage removed and it was £2k. Yorkshire.

All still perfect, make sure you get a quote off a roofer that comes recommended. The one I used has since replaced DSs roof very reasonably.

And that included scaffolding on the back of the house as we have a conservatory. Didn’t need it at the front they used mobile scaffolding that they brought themselves.
