Access to loft space

I need to have the wardrobes on the wall under the hatch to the loft space because that's the only full length wall. Is there a solution to the problem of having easy access to loft space despite wardrobes being under the hatch?
We're planning on getting better wardrobes, maybe even fitted wardrobes so before we do we need to find a way to get into our loft space. Are their special ladder one can buy for example?

You can get drop down staircases for easy loft access, but you'd need to move the loft hatch.

I am sorry, I didn't mean to write "no!" I mean to write "no?" As in "is moving the hatch an expensive job?"

You will definitely have to move the hatch if you want to use the loft space and put wardrobes underneath it. Presuming that you are not a contortionist? It shouldn’t be that expensive, no more than 1 days labour (allow £150 + VAT) and won’t need much in the way of materials. Re-decorate yourself.

Do you really need to use the loft space? I don’t, I kinda think the temptation is to use it to hoard stuff that should actually be thrown away.

Materials wise it could be less than 350 if you do the work yourself. I assume the 350 involved someone to do the work also.

Fold down ladders are easier to use and store away on top of the loft hatch and cost 100 to 120? They have a built in loft hatch so it is an easier option. It would involve cutting out a section of plasterboard from the ceiling and attaching to the loft joists. You may need some timber to reinforce the frame around it.
