I wouldn't attempt it myself but have seen companies advertise professionally. Only looking to do inside. I just wondered if anyone had done it? Thanks.

No, but our neighbours painted their white windows grey a few years ago. It has lasted well (at least from the distance we are). I don't know them well enough to ask for you though.

Thanks. Hopdfully someone will have done it themselves. The photos from the company look good but i am still a bit unsure!

i've read on mumsnet recently, lady painted her front door to dark blue, it looked nice.
i believe you just need special paint for pvc .

I was just about to say about the front door ones! They all looked fab.

We want to do this too! Although in our case we want to paint them grey. I think our brown wood-effect (!!!) windows are vinyl-wrapped PVC which is much less easy to paint than straightforward PVC. If your windows are brown, yours may be the same. It’s something to do with normal PVC paint being unsuitable. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can explain better than me.

If you’re on Instagram, artynads has painted all her white upvc black, using a Rust-Oleum universal all purpose paint, it’s saved on her page. It was a year or two ago and as far as I know, has worn well.

We got our front door done by UPVC sprayers. Only cost £120 and completely transformed it. Going to get them to do my French windows next.

I wouldn’t try it myself. Get a firm in.

No, but my neighbours had theirs spray painted a very light sage green. Looks lovely. They wouldn't do the guttering though.

I am planning to use Bedec multi surface paint to paint my front porch. I used it on my kitchen units and found it to be fab, no sanding or undercoating. Excellent reviews for the product.

Companies do this for you , you can choose any colour . It's about £1200 for a good sized 4 bed and conservatory .

We did this as a "stopgap" until we could afford new windows. They were in place for 8 years after we painted them and they looked great. We used a specialist primer (I think it was by Ranch International) and then normal F&B exterior paint on top. Made a massive difference and lots of people though we had new windows
