Putting up a worktop

I don't have a lot of cabinet space in my kitchen and I'm looking to put up a worktop over the tumble dryer and a set of drawers next to it. How can I do this and is it possible? What end panels would I need?

Following as I'm interested in doing similar.

A short length of worktop and (if laminate) edging tape. A drawer unit. 2 end panels and a bit of plinth. You or the person fitting will need to do some carpentry with battens/brackets etc to get it fixed to the wall and not wobbly.
