Has anyone installed barn or hanging doors that look slightly less industrial/agricultural?

I have an annoying opening that is too narrow for a traditional doorway without making it difficult to move appliances in and out (660mm). The adjacent wall is narrower than the opening so thinking that a double/overlapping barn door would be the only way to close this space. But, they all appear quite 'statementy'. I want the function rather than the design. Is there anything out there that would work?

Thanks

Have you looked up pocket doors?

I second pocket doors. We have one leading into our utility room.

Yes, wish we'd thought of pocket doors at the time but not sure we could retro fit one now. Or then, tbh, as placing of support beams limits the space either side of the opening. I'm thinking I could have one door (would prefer one to reduce depth) that would always slightly overlap the opening.
