Kitchen taps: anyone have Abode or Perrin and Rowe?

Am doing a whole kitchen refit in September and want brass taps. I have chosen the style I love and it's available from Abode or Perrin and Rowe. I've never heard of Abode before but like P&R they are British so am confident they should suit my water pressure. I don't know anyone who has them, all my friends have Franke or P&R ( probably because kitchen companies tend to stock them). But at £200 cheaper than P&R they have to be a contender. Does anyone have Abode taps? Any feedback?

I know they are expensive. But I deserve them! This is the last ever kitchen I'm going to install and I want perfection

I'd go with PR for a high end kitchen. They work and they don't break/leak. I don't know abode but for the sake of £200 I wouldn't be finding out in a new kitchen.

I have an Abode mixer tap installed 12 years ago. I'm happy with it, it did start leaking a few years ago but I ordered a cheap washer and changed it myself and it's been fine since then.

Thank you both. Anyone else? I'm also trying to get hold of the installer to find out his views, I'm doing all the ordering myself to keep costs down in my effort to save as much as I can so I can afford the high end accessories I love

Which one did you end up going for? I'm literally just looking at the same taps from both brands.... thanks!

Bumping this old thread as I am really keen to hear more about these taps as well!

I have an Abode mixer in my bathroom, it's fine in terms of performance, though the lever came off after a few years (it's a single arm style), now fixed by my plumber.

Splashed out on a P&R kitchen mixer set with separate rinse for our new kitchen. It's stunning and works really well, though we've only been using it for a month!

Agree with PPs that P&R are the ones for a high-end kitchen.

My abode kitchen tap fell apart after 5 years. It was unfixable.

The P&R is a much nicer looking tap, I hope the OP went for that one!!
