Ideas for a light fitting in my bathroom!

Please help me find a light fitting for my bathroom. I'm thinking of going for this look. I want a light fitting that is a chandelier rather than going for the ubiquitous spotlights. Any ideas and inspiration would be very welcome!

The ceiling is not as high as the room in the picture.

The bathroom is also half the size Grin

A chandelier like you might find in the Palace of Versailles? In your low ceiling, small, minimalist wetroom? Or just not a spotlight? Realistically it is going to have to be something which sits quite flush to the ceiling. You are going to bang your head off something too dangly.

Depending on closeness to water source, you'll need to consider the regs which relate to bathroom lighting zones. You may need ip44 rated which will limit your choice of pendant lights if that's what you go for

Generally I agree that spotlights are too widely used. But they are quite convenient in a bathroom. There are probably more exciting options for bathroom wall lights than central pendants

It's not a low-ceilinged room. Just not as high as the one in the pic. It's a Victorian house, so the ceiling is quite high. The one in the pic looks about 12 ft high.

I’ve looked at lots of bathroom lights over the last few months generally you need to buy a light designed for bathrooms especially if it’s a small bathroom. It appears bathroom lights are done in zones according to how close to running water they are. The price range is enormous! CP Hart have bathroom chandeliers, Hector Finch also have bathroom wall mounted chandelier type lights neither are cheap.
We also have a small bathroom with perhaps a slightly lower than average ceiling we’re putting spotlights in our ceiling simply because anything hanging lower than 10 inches feels to low in our bathroom. We decided to get some nice wall lights as well (from Hector Finch) as said above there were lots of “exciting options” and it’s easy to find something for all budgets and tastes.

True it will be a minimalist room, so we will go for spotlights. It will fit in with the rest of the house. Thanks Grin

Gosh you weren't kidding that they're not cheap. Love this though. Not a chandelier but I love it. Would be nice in a silver colour

Beautiful light. Maybe Holloways of Ludlow or Jim Lawrence for some in a similar style but not quite so expensive?

Thank you for the tip @nomdeguerrrr
