Has anyone done this?
I need to move a manhole cover so I can build an extension (you cant just build over them in my area anymore - the rules have changed) - however that will need the shared sewer pipe to have a bend or sweep as any change of direction needs another manhole cover and there's no room as I'm in a narrow terrace.
Anyone done this? Obviously I am checking with the water company, but they are very vague about whether it is possible or how much they charge (the work must be done through them).
