Hi, any advice for best way to cover pipes in bathroom myself? Replaced toilet and plumber broke all the tiles so need to fix ASAP but can't find a tiler who can do it for months...any potential DIY fixes for a novice? Also for floor...

you could make a "L" section cover out of laminated chipboard (which is wipe-clean).

If you are fond of tiling it you could. Or cover with your floor covering (is it cork tiles?) It will make a handy shelf for cleaning products.

Unless you are fond of sawing, measure and calculate the dimensions of the top and front piece several times, and try to find a DIY shed that will cut sheet material to size.

You will need an electric drill and some screws to fit the top board to the edge of the front board. you can fix a batten to the wall for the back of the shelf to sit on.
