I've just finished painting a few pieces of furniture with Rust-Oleum chalk paint and it's looking lovely, even if I do say so myself! I painted 3/4 coats on top of Ikea lightly stained wood but there was no bleed through.
However, I've just waxed a drawer with a thin layer of Rust-Oleum wax and it's made it streaky! It looks awful! I've attached a pic but it looks worse IRL. (The door hasn't been waxed yet). I followed the instructions about buffing and watched loads of videos beforehand so I don't think I've applied it wrong.
Any ideas why this has happened?
