DIY kitchens: cabinets not deep enough for built in oven?

I thought I had done the kitchen order from DIY kitchens including a tall unit with built in double oven and microwave above.

However if I look at which best buy double ovens, they are all 61-62cm deep. Cabinet is 56cm deep. Which will only fit the zanussi double oven which diy k can provide.

Are their cupboards in general less deep than standard?

I think they fit standard appliances. Suggest check with the helpdesk. Also with ovens, the overall dimensions sometimes include handles etc. If you can download installation instructions it will contain the cabinet aperture size.

We have a DIY kitchen and no problem fitting an oven from elsewhere. If need be your fitter will pull that run of units forward slightly, but it's probably just that the oven goes back into the service void. Also the dimensions will include the depth of the doors whereas depth of the carcasses won't.

Unless you are needing to run water pipes behind it, you should be good, but to be on the safe side maybe have a little bit of slack in the runs of units "round the corner" from the cooker just in case.

We recently replaced an oven and needed a smaller depth one to fit the existing space. Belling made a suitable one.

Hang on are you talking about slot in freestanding cookers?

The cabinet is 56cm +2cm door thickness +2cm worktop overhang/tolerance at the back, comes to 60cm deep slot for a freestanding appliance.

It's for a built in double oven like this

What a lovely oven. I have a Neff even the cheap ones are good.
I'm baffled as to where you are finding the 62cm dimension - the fitting diagram says min, cabinet depth 550mm, you will be fine. 62cm will be the full depth of the oven including the handles and doors.

I think it's just a which booboo!
