So we are looking to change our small table with 2 chairs to fit a bigger table where we can seat 4/6. Has anyone got any ideas of how we can do this in such little space?

Is there enough room to fit a corner bench seat?

LetItGoHome · 18/06/2020 13:45

I'd get a small round table that extends. So you can have it bigger only when needed.

Do you need it to seat more all the time or occasionally?
E. G. Habitat do this table that doubles in size and store fold up chairs elsewhere www.habitat.co.uk/lincoln-4-8-seater-oak-flip-top-table-782011

Or one of these tables where you store chairs in it.... Can only use half when only two of you www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132827286169

Thanks for your replies. Ideally we don't want anything that has to fold away. I like the idea of some kind of banquette bench but not sure how it would work!

Bench against the wall, long table, chair at each end.

How wide is the room? It looks 6 foot (1.83 m), so too narrow really. Do you have a separate dining room you could knock through to the other side of the wall?

GemSmith738 · 18/06/2020 16:41

It's 7ft 5 from left to right wall but where the fridge/cupboards are it's 5ft 3! We have already knocked through to the garage for it to fit the kitchen as it used to be a box kitchen
