Theyre gorgeous. Get a new designer.

Yes they're gorgeous.
Yes, they will be an utter bugger to keep looking clean. Grouting itself is a pain the arse, grouting in complicated patterns will be worse, shiny tiles need wiping over - almost polishing - in order to look nice, they're far worse than matt/mock marble-ish tiles. Combo of shiny plus all that grouting - I wouldn't go there unless I had a good cleaner and was prepared to pay for all the hours of cleaning.
I speak as an ex-cleaner. I remember shiny tiles. Not much I remember about being a cleaner but I remember this.

Anything with lots of grout lines is going to be hard to keep clean - but it's not really much different to the small metro tiles which are popular at the moment. I'd use a dark grey grout which should help and stock up on bleach to bleach the grout once a fortnight or so to keep on top of the mould

I wouldn't say the grout is any ajrser to clean than normal rectangle or square tiles. Although as PP said, you'd need to polish them regularly to keep them shiny. They're stunning though, just saved the picture for my bathroom reno 🤭

I used HG mould spray to keep my grout clean, it's fab!

George Clarke put these in someone's house on Old House New Home and they were lovely, really liked them. Would probably be a nightmare to clean though. I've currently got metro tiles and very annoying. Next time I'm going for the biggest tiles possible to cut down on grout cleaning time.

@needanotherholiday

That's what I did as was sick of cleaning grout - I've got the biggest tiles you can buy 🤣🤦‍♀️

Yes, a nightmare.

I've got those shower panels now, so much easier and they come in lots of different designs.

This may be obvious to you, but sadly it wasn’t to me. I went with similar tiles, and while keeping the grout clean hasn’t been an issue, with hindsight I definitely wish we had got a proper tiler rather than just the plumber and mate. It is much harder to get a really good finish with non-square or rectangle tiles. I love my tiles, but my bathroom as a whole definitely has a whiff of DIY about it as a result.Sad

I work for a tile company and I programme machines to cut these type of designs. If you choose a white grout it will be a nightmare to keep clean, I'd recommend a dark grout (they come in all colours) or you can get a resin grout (again comes in a all colours) although your tiler might not want to use it as it's harder to put on.
