Our NDNs are building some sort of contraption so they can hang their washing outside even when it's raining, but have screwed the sides of the structure to our side of the fence. I have knocked on the door and they were very apologetic and said they'd reattach it to their side, but nothing yet.

If I ask again and they don't remove them am I in my right to just remove the parts myself and drop the parts round to their house?

I have big plans for the garden and this looks so ugly!

Hahaha absolutely @PigletJohn

I can confirm that after being asked again, they have removed the bits that were attached to the fence and agreed not to attach anything to the fence. Almost like I should have just done that in the first place.

And are you still going to complain to the council about the monstrosity structure that may need planning permission?

HouchinBawbags · 15/06/2020 17:38

Please do notify the council re. Planning permission. You don't want those bits of crap flying through your patio doors or windows in a storm. It looks very shoddily done.

I'd written to the council about planning permission just after the first person suggested it here @houchinbawbags @ellie56

I am v easily convinced.
