Virtual viewings with estate agents

Curious really when I'm nosing looking at rightmove some houses have a (supposed) benefit of online viewing or virtual viewing.
How does this work? Does the EA go in and do a tour with video....?
Do they do all the rooms?
I'm unsure how many people would put an offer on a house without having actually been in it especially as most people would see pics, location, street view, floor plan on rightmove anyway....

We thought the same but it's already pre-recorded and already on rightmove with the listing. It's like they've taken a 360° picture of every room including ceiling and floor. You can then control what you see and how long you spend looking by directing yourself about the house. It's a bit like Google Street view. I don't think it's a perfect substitute for viewing in person but it gives you a far better look at the property than the usual pictures which are staged and can be misleading. Definitely a good way to drum up interest or to rule something out so you don't waste time viewing something that's not for you.
