A question about ikea kitchen drawers...

I had an ikea kitchen fitted in January and have noticed a few spots where I could fit more internal/hidden drawers inside the drawers ifyswim (all drawers - no cupboards, loving it!)

So my question is - do I just need to order the standard maximera drawer and then just set it further back inside the main drawer?! Sorry if this really obvious! Don't think I want to queue to get in so will be ordering online.

I’ve got Ikea kitchen with lots of drawers, big deep plate type drawers, but we have smaller cutlery drawers inside, all works very well.
I’m sure the runners for the smaller drawers just fit into the pre drilled holes in the side panels of the units.

Thanks for that! Yes, into the existing predrilled holes - and the actual drawers are all the same, just set further back if they are a 'hidden' drawer?

Yes I’m sure they all just fit you don’t need to adjust anything.

Just make sure you order all the bits you need. I believe that the drawers come without a front (so you can choose the style of your kitchen), so when you order the drawer I think you need to order a basic front for it.

I had the hidden drawers fitted at the same time so I’m not sure about retro-fitting but it looks pretty simple. This is what mine look like. Just be careful with the screw heads on the external door because ours made dents in the internal drawer (see pic). You can get protective screw head covers to stop that from happening.
